Mimmo Mirabelli

Born in 1984 in Chivasso (Turin, Italy).
He lived in Calabria until the age of twelve; in 1996 he moved with his family to Ancona, and a year later to the province of Turin, where he still resides. He earned two degrees in accordion performance from the “Conservatoire de la Vallée d’Aoste”. A versatile musician active on the international music scene, his artistic curiosity and stylistic openness have led him to explore a wide range of genres. He is the author of “Tecnica della fisarmonica” - ”Accordion Technique” (for piano system), published by Casa Ricordi. His first song, “La danza della panza”, was released in the “Pulcino Pio Compilation” and continues to receive airplay on national radio and television. He was among the first Italian YouTubers to use the platform to promote high-quality content, from covers of popular songs to original compositions. Through his project “La fisarmonica moderna” – “The Modern Accordion”, he gained widespread recognition on social media, amassing nearly five billion views with captivating videos that have fascinated audiences of all ages. Even back in 2010, he had “seen it coming,” and today he’s fully aware of how powerful the web can be as an amplifier for music.Throughout his career, he has collaborated with numerous artists and ensembles, taking part in major projects and producing many recordings.
