Davide Rocco Fiorenza
Eclectic accordionist and composer Davide Rocco Fiorenza is an accordionist and composer known for his experimental approach and his ability to weave different musical languages into a personal, visceral and profound sound vision. His repertoire ranges from tango "nuevo" (varied tango), contemporary jazz, experimental music, dodecaphony (seriality) and contemporary jazz (understood as an exploration of the many musical folklores in the world. Among the most significant experiences of his career is his meeting with Richard Galliano, with whom he shared intense musical moments culminating in a common performance and the release of a diploma signed by the maestro.
In the middle of his path is also the study with Maestro Natalino Marchetti, a musical guide who has contributed decisively to his technical and artistic growth.
He has collaborated with Italian and international artists, bringing on stage music that combines virtuosity and minimalism, tension and freedom, in numerous festivals and performance contexts. Alongside music, Davide has studied the Japanese art of Kinbaku, which he uses as a visual and conceptual expressive tool.
He completed his training at the Kinbaku Academy in Tokyo with maestro Osada Steve, developing an intimate and poetic style.
He is considered as a pioneer in the fusion between accordion and strings, creating performances with a strong emotional and symbolic impact.
